Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Nights (1900-0730) every other weekend

Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS and NIHSS required.
• PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability.
• Utilize advanced knowledge and experience to deliver comprehensive assessments and interventions.
• Monitor patients continuously to detect any changes in their conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation.
