Department: Facilities & Operations
Reports To: Principal
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Full-Time
The School Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position performs daily custodial duties, assists with building maintenance, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain floors and carpets.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Restock supplies.
- Report maintenance concerns.
- Help ensure a safe learning environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Custodial experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must successfully complete a background screening and drug testing.
