Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Preceptor - Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN with a passion for clinical education. In this role as a Full Time Registered Nurse Lead Preceptor, you will train, coach and mentor newly hired RNS and LPNs.

This exciting new role will work one-on-one with our nurses to ensure our clinicians are delivering exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients living in their homes throughout the greater Denver area. In this role, you will also maintain a small caseload of patients. Previous Medicare Certified Home Health and OASIS documentation experience is required.

You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to remain at home. How You'll Make an Impact:

• Use strong head-to-toe assessment skills with the ability to identify subtle changes in patient condition
• Utilize your experience with acute and post-acute care (e.g., CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care)
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting
• Perform medication reconciliation, teaching, and safety monitoring
• Perform comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation

Qualifications for a Registered BAYADA Nurse:

• A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Colorado
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units (medical or skilled nursing settings).

Pay: Weekly

Base Pay: $55-65 per point, depending on qualifications
