About the Role:  

American Hazmat Rentals LLC is looking for a skilled General Fabricator to join our team in Tye, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with a specialized company where your craftsmanship and attention to detail make a real impact every day. We provide onsite training! Responsibilities:  

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures using welding, cutting, and forming techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Operate fabrication equipment including welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and hand tools
• Inspect finished products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on fabrication equipment, tools, and the shop
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

Requirements:

 

• Prior experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related trade field
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings preferred
• Experience operating fabrication machinery and hand/power tools safely preferred 
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physical, hands-on environment
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
