The Material Handler plays a critical role in managing inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the supply chain. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently to support production and operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials accurately
- Pick and prepare materials for production or shipping
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are properly labeled
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials safely
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Coordinate with other departments to support material requirements
