Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Critical Access HospitalWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of our Critical Access Hospital. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and sustainability of a vital healthcare facility dedicated to serving our community. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare finance, leadership, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the hospital's fiscal integrity and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the hospital's mission and operational goalsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirementsManage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and present findings to executive leadership and board of directorsOversee Revenue Cycle and reimbursement processes to maximize billing efficiency and effectivenessLead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure accuracy and complianceMonitor cash flow, manage investments, and optimize financial resourcesCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support cost containment and revenue enhancement initiativesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare industry trends, reimbursement policies, and regulatory changes affecting hospital financesSupervise finance department staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvementSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferredProven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader within a Hospital setting, preferably in a Critical Access HospitalStrong understanding of Revenue Cycle, healthcare reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer systemsExcellent financial analysis, budgetary, financial planning, and reporting skillsKnowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory requirementsLeadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse teamExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, community-focused environmentJoin our dedicated team committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.
