Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing EngineerJackson, TN manufacturer needs a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in CNC programming. This is with a medium size company of about 100 employees.Responsibilities:Ensure that production processes meet customer and company requirements.Develop fixtures, tooling, and systems to manufacture parts and assembliesDrive quality and reliability improvements, while ensuring employee safety and lowering costsUse Solid Cam and Mastercam software to develop CNC programsDevelop statistics and analyses for root cause solutions to technical problems.Qualifications:BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Will consider an equivalent combination of experience and education.Must have experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.Must be knowledgeable about G-CodeDemonstrated expertise with Mastercam and/or Solid Cam CNC software.Must have in-depth machine shop experience.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S.Sorry, but this employer does not wish to interview students or people who need any kind of visa sponsorship either now or in the future.
