Account Executive - Screening (McAllen)
Guardant Health, Inc.
Guardant Health seeks an Account Executive to drive adoption of the Shield colorectal cancer blood test among primary care providers in the McAllen area. The role combines field-based sales, provider education, and cross-functional collaboration to advance early cancer detection.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets through prospecting and relationship-building with healthcare providers
- Educate primary care practices on Shield test and build stakeholder support for product adoption
- Identify new business opportunities and establish phlebotomy draw agreements with regional laboratories
- Develop and execute launch plans aligned with brand strategy for cancer screening technologies
- Monitor competitive landscape and share market insights with commercial leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years customer-facing healthcare sales (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical) or 2 years with clinical background (RN/PA)
- Demonstrated sales success with ability to overcome objections and close deals
- Strong technical communication skills to explain complex information clearly
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva
- Preferred: Experience selling diagnostic or blood-based testing products to primary care
- Superior customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Tenacity, resilience, and initiative to navigate challenges creatively
