We are hiring a physical therapist to join our team. Someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a schedule. We work in two closely related areas, pelvic health and hypermobility, and you do not need a background in both to apply. We invest in it because we want you using it, and because your growth raises the standard for everyone. Somewhere to go. As we grow, we promote from inside. We would rather develop the person already on the team than bring in someone new above them. Who we are Gulf Coast Pelvic Health is a private pay pelvic health and hypermobility practice in Pensacola. Four years in, growing on referrals and results rather than volume. Most of our patients have already been somewhere else. Told it is normal after kids. Told nothing is wrong. Told to do Kegels and come back in six weeks. Nobody looked at the whole picture, and nobody connected the pelvic pain to the fatigue to the joints to the gut. That is the gap we exist to close. We do not look at symptoms in isolation, we look at the patterns underneath, and we take the time to actually figure them out. That work happens in two areas. One is the full pelvic health scope: bladder, bowel, sexual health, pelvic pain, prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum, and male pelvic health. The other is hypermobility and connective tissue disorders, including HSD and EDS, along with the conditions that so often travel with them like POTS and MCAS. A good number of our patients need both, which is exactly why we treat them together rather than as separate problems. If you have built one of these specialties and want to add the other, or you are early in both and want to develop them properly, there is a path here for either. What we are looking for Commitment. We are building something, and we would love someone who wants to build alongside us. Confidence and humility together. Confidence in what you know, honesty about what you do not. Coachability. You will be mentored closely, and that only works if you want it. Patience for complex cases. Slow wins and long plans of care. The most satisfying cases are rarely the fastest ones. Fit. We are a small team, and how someone works with us matters as much as how they work with patients. Qualifications Florida PT license or license eligible. DPT or equivalent. Experience in pelvic health or hypermobility is preferred but not required, and training is available in both. The willingness to develop these specialties matters more to us than arriving with them. Compensation We discuss pay openly and specifically in the first interview, so you will know early rather than late. This position does not come with a traditional benefits package. What it comes with is funded continuing education, professional liability insurance covered, and mentorship that is ongoing and real rather than a line in a handbook.
