Main 6E Transplant is a dynamic 22-bed adult inpatient unit dedicated to caring for fresh post-operative solid organ abdominal transplant patients. Our nurses play a vital role in supporting kidney, liver, and kidney/pancreas transplant recipients through every stage of their journey, from pre-transplant preparation to post-transplant recovery. Work in both Intermediate/Stepdown and Acute Care settings, allowing you to broaden and strengthen your clinical skills. Intermediate Care nurses manage highly specialized patients with arterial lines and advanced drips. We invest in your success. All nurses become ACLS certified and trained in peritoneal dialysis within the first six months, building a strong clinical foundation that opens doors across the organization. While transplant is our core specialty, MH6E cares for a wide range of acute care patients, giving nurses continuous opportunities to learn and refine their practice.
