International Family Medicine is seeking a compassionate, professional, and dependable Bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team.

We are a patient-centered medical practice that truly cares about the quality of care we provide. We believe that excellent patient care begins the moment a patient walks through our doors. Our front desk team plays an essential role in making every patient feel welcomed, respected, and supported.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner
• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
• Answer telephone calls and assist patients with questions, scheduling, and general concerns
• Communicate clearly and compassionately in both English and Spanish
• Help patients find solutions while remaining patient, empathetic, and professional
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations
• Learn and use the clinic’s electronic medical record and scheduling systems
• Work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment
• Collaborate respectfully with providers, clinical staff, and other front desk team members
• Remain flexible and willing to assist with different responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish is required
• Respectful, compassionate, helpful, and professional at all times
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing and able to learn new systems and procedures
• Flexible, dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Able to remain calm and courteous when assisting patients
• Committed to protecting patient privacy and following HIPAA requirements
• Previous medical office or front desk experience is preferred
