At Flash Security Integrators Inc, we are committed to delivering innovative security solutions that protect people, assets, and information. Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled and reliable Security Technician to join our growing organization.

As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and other technicians to ensure systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

Tasks include:

• Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems (e.g., cameras, alarms, access control).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and repair or replace defective components.
• Collaborate with clients to explain system operations and provide basic training.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electronic security system installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and networking basics.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ESA, NICET, manufacturer-specific) are a plus.
• OSHA30 Certification
• Aerial Lift Training Certification

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity with installations & service in Access Control, IP Security Camera, Burglar Alarm & Fire Alarm Systems
• Basic understanding of IP networking and structured cabling.
• Experience with tools like multimeters, cable testers, and power tools.
