Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Level III NICU at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730), 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and NRP — must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for neonatal patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
