Cath Lab Technologist Opportunity

Embark on a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment, leveraging your expertise as a Cath Lab Technologist. This contract role focuses on supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care for adult and geriatric patients.

Schedule

• Start Date: 11/16/2026 Est. End Date: 02/13/2027
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 am7:30 pm or 8:00 am8:30 pm
• No weekends required
• On-call responsibilities included
• 3 shifts per week
• Part-time

What You'll Do

• Assist physicians with diagnostic, cardiac, and peripheral interventional procedures, functioning as a scrub assistant, case recorder, and cardiac circulator
• Deliver patient care throughout the procedure, including preparation and monitoring
• Report changes in patient status promptly to RN or physician
• Perform and document point of care testing in accordance with CLIA guidelines
• Meticulously document procedures, including labeling studies, recording clinical details, and entering charges
• Uphold all standards for sterile technique and infection prevention
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, manage supplies, and keep the work area clean

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program required
• Current BLS required, ACLS and RCIS certifications highly preferred
• At least two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist, including STEMI on-call coverage, is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of catheters, wires, stents, and related lab supplies
• Proficiency with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Strong communication, compassion, teamwork, and accountability

$2,527 - $2,765/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
