Adjunct Instructor- Business Administration

Job Summary An Adjunct instructor is a term‑to‑term appointment responsible for students, course material, and classroom and/or online instruction. Teaching duties include all levels of the Business curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses. Key Responsibilities Undertake teaching and learning related activities, as agreed. Ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and that assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner. Provide administration, reports, and statistics regarding student and teaching matters. Contribute to the development of curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration functional skills, development, and equality and diversity. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate studies in a Business discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Expertise in any area of business management/administration. Enthusiastic educator with strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with others within a larger department on curriculum, scheduling, study abroad, and related areas. Preferred Qualifications Master’s or terminal degree (MBA, DBA, or Ph.D. in Business) from a regionally accredited university. Minimum of 18 hours of graduate work within the discipline. Professional certifications within the related discipline. Minimum two years of teaching experience in areas such as economics, finance, or other related areas. Minimum one year of online teaching experience. Minimum three years of professional experience in the discipline area. Demonstrated proficiency in popular software tools and learning management systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
