Screen Print Operator - 2nd Shift

WORK TYPE: On Site LOCATION DETAILS: 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 WORK HOURS: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Monday-Friday (OT as needed and during peak operations Jun-Dec). HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: As a Screen Print specialist, this role is responsible for assisting with the production of screen-printed material. Roles include the production, coating, and cleaning of screens used in the screen-printing process, quality check finished product based on customer specifications, assisting on press loading material and by applying ink to screens, and the movement of material throughout the facility, and the use of an RF scanner. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work. Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications. Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications. Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork. Operation of machinery used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process. Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner. Ensures that their area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week. Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledte/Skills/Abilities High school diploma or General education degree (GED). Ability to speak and read English instructions. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating. Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance. Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
