Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $26 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, and providing customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule with Saturday assignments. Candidates must hold phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Three months or more phlebotomy experience
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to additional sites
Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
