If you enjoy working independently, tackling new challenges, and helping deliver a great customer experience, we'd love to meet you!Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience preferred.Able to work for any employer within the U.S.Compensation PackageEarn competitive pay based on your experienceCompany truck daily use during work hours (if authorized)Health, vision and dental insurance401k (employer match) after 1 yearPaid holidays and vacationMaternity and paternity leave optionsWork in the great outdoors – no office cubicles here!Be part of a team that supports each other and takes pride in their workWhat You'll Be Doing – Your Day in the Life of a Warranty TechnicianWhat you'll be doing:Putting your construction knowledge and construction processes to use on each project to ensure pools are repaired to the highest quality per building codes and municipality requirements - and the standards set by Aqua Blue Pools, exceeding customer expectations each step along the way.Conduct quality swimming pool repairs within budget and in a timely mannerPracticing attention to detail and effective communication within teamFollow timelines while minimizing wasteCommunicate timelines, expectations, and completion of repairs that are being performed with the client.Professionally work alongside subcontractors and other parties involved in repairsEffectively communicate between departmentsProvide superior customer serviceReview construction details and previous repairs to identify areas for improvementProvide internal reporting and projections for inventoryReport project progress on timeline, and adjustmentsEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are metInterpret and explain technical informationRespond to work delays, emergencies, and other problemsBe an effective team memberEnsure all equipment and materials needed are in working orderEffectively operate within scope of workEnsure processes start and end on time, and efficientlyAccept on-call service as needed.Quality ControlConducting site inspections as neededEnsuring that each project is completed on time and within budget.Read and understand construction documents and plans.Maintain cohesive relationships between departments and within teamKeep fellow team members accountable to maintain qualityBe able to practice two-way constructive and professional feedbackRespond to requests in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.Elevate team members with technical skills and knowledgeAs a Warranty Technician in our construction division we would prefer you possess the following:Clean driving recordThree years' experience in similar position or comparable industry experienceBe able to lift up to 80 lbs.Be able to stoop, bend, kneel, sit, and stand for long periods of timeAble to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAble to work outdoors in varying conditionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAccurate and precise attention to detailGoal-oriented and autonomousAble to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsIn-depth understanding of the construction industrySelf-motivated and self-directedIntegrityOther:Knowledge of workplace safety practicesAble to build solid relationships with team members and customersMaintaining the highest standards in customer-service; ethical and professional conductKnowledge of pools is a plusA relentless pursuit of perfection - consistently open to encouragement, training and coachingA talent for communicating - on the phone, in writing, and in personAn impeccable professional appearanceThis position requires the ability to perform physical tasks associated with construction and/or service work that involves frequent heavy lifting, repetitive motion, prolonged standing, walking, and bending in outdoor working environments.
