Summary
\nWe are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services in a clinical setting. As a key member of the behavioral health team, this role is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions. The Psychiatrist will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care and collaborative treatment planning.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients \n
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications \n
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) \n
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with standards \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care \n
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly \n
- Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives \n
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies \n
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans \n
- Participate in professional development and maintain active licensure \n
Qualifications & Requirements
\n- \n
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in Psychiatry \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry \n
- Active California medical license \n
- Current DEA registration \n
- Current BLS or ACLS certification preferred \n
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred \n
- Strong understanding of psychiatric diagnostic and treatment methodologies \n
- Must pass Occupational Health Screening \n
- Must meet employment eligibility requirements (I-9 verification) \n
- Clean driving record may be required \n
