Tool Crib AttendantAcuren is currently recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant to support our operations in either Cincinnati, OH or Indianapolis, IN.The Tool Crib coordinator assists in managing the inventory of supplies, materials, equipment and other items required to support the work performed in the field. The Tool Crib Attendant will also maintain the organization and the hygiene of the Tool Crib.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the availability and readiness of equipment and supplies by:Ensuring all tools, equipment and/or gear are maintained and in good working condition, and calibrated in accordance with documented procedures and standardsMaintaining appropriate inventory control processes to effectively manage inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are issued, and ensure continued availability of high demand itemsMaintaining stock rotation, disposing of and accounting for outdated stockMaintaining an equipment database including such information as equipment datasheets and maintenance historySupporting the purchase and receipt of goods and services by:Preparing order requisitions to replenish materials, equipment and stock, and obtaining proper approvals prior to purchase of goods and servicesCommunicating with suppliers to process order, confirm availability of supplies, resolve any shortages, missed deliveries and other problemsReceiving materials, supplies, and equipment, and verifying packing slips against purchase orders and ensure accuracy and integrity of billingMaintaining the shop and training area in a safe, clean and well-organized mannerSupport the provision of timely and effective customer service by:Responding to verbal and electronic service and equipment reManaging and scheduling the flow of equipment/gear and supplies to and from project sitesReceiving equipment/gear, conducting inspections and ensuring scheduled maintenance needs are met (recertification and repairs)Other work duties as assigned.RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:The position requires understanding and knowledge in the following areas:Acuren's range of technical services and variety of service lines provided in order to appropriately coordinate and deploy gear and suppliesKnowledge of equipment needed to perform various integrated industrial services, specific tests and/or inspectionsThe position requires the following skills and abilities:Solid interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage a broad range of internal and external contactsProficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelExcellent organizational, multi-tasking capability, problem solving and time management skillsAbility to meet the physical requirements of the jobConsistently demonstrates an understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Acuren Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and proceduresEDUCATION:The position requires a secondary school diploma complemented by a minimum of 2 years industry-related experience; a minimum of PETZL PPE Inspection course or IRATA Level 1 certification is required for positions responsible for inspection and dispatch of rope-related equipmentBenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance401K PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffWorking ConditionsWORKING CONDITIONS:Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.Travel may be required.PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS:Physical demands may include lifting and carrying equipment up to 25 kgCompany OverviewAcuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
