Supervisor - Line Maintenance (MCO)

Responsibilities Oversee line maintenance operations and supervise line maintenance personnel. Essential Functions Manage, monitor and coordinate Safety Management System (SMS) activities. Coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance and integration of the SMS. Identify hazards and conduct safety risk assessments, including change management. Ensure effectiveness of safety risk controls and promote safety culture. Advise the accountable executive on SMS performance and needs for improvement. Achieve safety performance relative to job tasks and maintain risk acceptable level. Remove inoperative equipment from use, manage tagging and repair or replacement actions. Monitor maintenance activities to ensure quality and safety standards. Determine work priorities on the shift. Supervise maintenance performed by Frontier and contract aircraft personnel. Provide timely and accurate information on aircraft status. Determine job standards, test personnel productivity and safety habits. Review and evaluate maintenance performance and administer corrective action when necessary. Assist in formulation of departmental policy and create/administer budget and performance commitments. Assist with monthly/quarterly shelf life audits at maintenance stations. Ensure all tools and equipment meet safety and manufacturer specifications. Conduct lost and found tool investigations and complete associated reports. Perform computer and administrative functions as assigned. Identify operational improvement opportunities and communicate to management. Ensure adherence to airport and aircraft security regulations and report violations. Perform shift turnover as required per GMM 10.09. Audit completed aircraft records and monitor proper completion of records. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned work documents and records. Make FMIS entries as required. Ensure department personnel, including themselves, are properly trained, qualified and current. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Maintenance Control. Always follow approved published procedures unless deviation is authorized. Qualifications FAA-certified mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Requires 3 years of previous line maintenance experience. Previous supervisory, lead or directing workforce experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent working knowledge of company maintenance policies and procedures. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a stressful environment. Ability to communicate effectively, calmly and professionally at all times. Ability to lead and motivate maintenance personnel positively. General computer and administrative skills. Demonstrate behavior that portrays company core values (Safety, Respect, Trust, Collaboration, Value, Passion). Plan, organize, and administer workloads to subordinates. Equipment Operated All maintenance equipment and tooling. Work Environment Varying work schedule; expected to work at least one week of graveyard shift per month. May require 40+ hours per week.
