We seek a dedicated, hands‑on professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and has strong troubleshooting and proactive skills. Job Type Full‑time Pay $25–$26 per hour Schedule 8 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary) Monday – Friday What will make you successful Reliable transportation 1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or residential construction Strong communication skills Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds What you will be doing As a Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain daily operations and overall upkeep of the community, addressing service requests and performing preventative maintenance. Core responsibilities Perform routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly and professionally Maintain property grounds and keep common areas clean and attractive Support unit turnovers and make‑readies, including painting, repairs, and cleaning Assist in preventative maintenance to extend the life of property systems and equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies Deliver notices and communications to residents as directed Participate in an on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies Perform additional duties as assigned Where you will work On‑site at the property in Hoffman Estates.
