The Metered Services Supervisor, under the general guidance of the Assistant Director of Customer Care, is to plan, supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the department's metering system, backflow compliance, and field customer service programs. Functional areas include but not limited to, meter readings, meter repair and installation, automated meter reading, meter testing, and field customer service dispatch. The supervisor is responsible for escalated field customer service, evaluating performance, analyze various data reports including performance metrics to ensure the staff is operating optimally. As a representative of management, supports the mission, vision, strategic plan, goals and decisions of the department and the City.

Starting pay $32.78 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree, or equivalent years of experience required.
• Moderate experience with a minimum of three years in construction of public improvements, operation and maintenance of public utilities, meter reading, replacements, testing, and maintenance.
• Strong customer service experience with the ability to resolve conflicts required
• Valid State motor vehicle operator's license and acceptable driving record required
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Must obtain Missouri DNR Distribution DSIII License or CWEA or equivalent within 24 months of employment
• Must obtain ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification within 12 months of employment
• Must obtain Confined Space and Entry Certification within 6 months of employment
• Must obtain Bridge Crane and Rigging Certification within 6 months of employment
• Must obtain Trenching and Shoring Competent Person within 6 months of employment
