Job Title: Middleware engineer (Hybrid Onsite)

Location: Dimondale, MI - Only 1 day to go onsite

· Looking for an IT professional with strong experience in installation, Configuration, troubleshooting, advance configuration of Jboss application servers both stand alone and clustered environments, Apache Tomcat web server in Linux operating systems.

· Provide real-time technical support for environments and supported applications and technologies on Jboss Application servers, Apache Tomcat and Red Hat OS

· Strong Experience in Systems and Application administration role, deploying and managing large scale applications into JBOSS application servers is required

· Strong Experience on troubleshooting production and operational issues for middleware technologies like Apache, Tomcat, Jboss application servers.

· Experience working with bash, Shell Scripting, or other Infrastructure Scripts.

· Provide technical support in JBOSS/middleware services including Patching, upgrading, performance tuning and provide production support, etc.

· Minimum five years of experience in the installation and administration of JBoss Middleware Services.

· Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure DevOps).

We need a staff Aug with below specified requirements:

· 15 years or more of IT experience in designing, developing and supporting production operations for large-sclae enterprise software systems

· 5+ years or more of experience in Installations and configurations of JBoss Enterprise Application Server JBoss AS 5.1/ 6.0/ 7.x/8.x.

· 5 + Years of experience in Experience in Installation of Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server, Jboss Application Server

· 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins and developing CI/CD pipelines for code deployments.

· Build, maintain, improve, and evolve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes for new and existing services to reduce manual/repetitive tasks using an Agile delivery methodology.

· Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.

· 5 + years of experience in setting up Code repositories, Branching strategies for new projects using GIT and BITBUCKET or similar version control softwares

· 5 + years of experience in Configuring Data Sources and JDBC providers for database connectivity for JBoss Application Server.

· 5 + years of experience in Configuring and administering JMS Connection factories, JMS Queues, Topics, Distributed Queues in IBM MQ or similar technologies.

· Strong Experience working with Shell Scripting, or other Infrastructure Scripts.

· Must be Strong in communications, Developing design documents, application infrastructure diagrams, and flow diagrams

· Comply with Organization standards, processes, and evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.

· Individuals must have adequate communication skills to be able to communicate effectively.

· Individuals must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

· Individuals must have critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and dedication to the work product being produced.

· Java & J2EE Technologies (Java 1.8 or Open JDK, JSP, Servelets, JDBC, EJB, Java Beans, JNDI, EJB Session Beans, Enetity Beans, JMS)

· Frameworks: Struts2.x , Hibernate (jpa, xml), Spring , Angular

· Web Services : SOAP, REST, WSDL

· Platforms: Windows, LINUX

· Databases : Oracle 19c , MS SQL Server , T-SQL, PL/SQL

· Scripting Languages: Mven, Ant, Java Script, Unix Shell Scripting

· Tools: JIRA, Jenkins , BitBucket

· Web/Application Servers: Tomcat 8.x and JBOSS

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
