RN - CVICU

CVICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 4x12 hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00)

The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiovascular intensive care setting. The role requires expertise in managing critically ill patients, with responsibilities including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with specialized procedures.

Supervise and assess patient condition and progress

Provide continuous care for ventilated patients

Manage IVs, arterial lines, and central lines

Administer medications and blood products as needed

Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts for patient care

Assist in emergent situations and perform advanced cardiac life support

2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required

Experience with a patient ratio of 1:2
