Look no further! Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking engineers for our McLean, VA office. Location McLean, VA The impact you will have Deliver a wide range of high‑value technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures, developing how‑to guides, and operationalizing customer use cases. Partner with Engagement Managers to scope professional services work based on customer needs and desired outcomes. Guide strategic customers through transformational big data initiatives and third‑party migrations, including end‑to‑end design, build, and deployment of advanced data and AI applications. Provide architectural guidance and hands‑on implementation support to ensure successful evaluation and adoption of Zachary Piper Solutions. Serve as an escalation point for complex operational issues during customer engagements. Collaborate closely with Zachary Piper Solutions technical teams, Project Managers, Architects, and customer stakeholders to ensure all technical components are delivered effectively. Work with Engineering and Customer Support to share product feedback, resolve engagement‑specific issues, and improve the overall customer experience. What we look for U.S. citizenship Experienced in Apache Spark (Must have) 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics Proficiency in Python or Scala Working knowledge of at least two major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deep expertise in one Strong experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark™ and familiarity with Spark runtime internals Understanding of CI/CD practices for production deployments Working knowledge of MLOps concepts and workflows Experience designing and deploying scalable, performant end‑to‑end data architectures Proven ability to deliver technical projects, manage scope, and meet timelines Strong documentation, communication, and whiteboarding skills Experience working directly with customers and navigating conflict or ambiguity Ability to build new technical skills that support Zachary Piper Solutions solution deployment and integration Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience Compensation Salary Range: $120,000 - $225,000 based on experience Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, Holiday Keywords Apache Spark, Apache, AI/ML, AI, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Machine Learning, Python, Scala #J-18808-Ljbffr
