Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Transplant Med/Surg position in Atlanta, GA, requiring transplant and peritoneal dialysis experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• Hospital-based transplant unit (6T Med/Surg)
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg experience within the past 3 years
• Transplant experience required
• Peritoneal dialysis experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local travelers are not eligible
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if the requested time off falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
• RTO days during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive
