Gent Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Installer / Installation Crew Member to join our team.
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience , including experience with residential change-outs and equipment set-outs for new construction .
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate understands the basics of residential HVAC installation, is comfortable working as part of an installation crew, and can contribute on the job without needing to be trained from the ground up.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of residential HVAC installation experience
- Experience with residential HVAC change-outs
- Experience with equipment set-outs for residential new construction
- Experience assisting with or completing other residential HVAC installations
- Familiarity with common HVAC installation tools, materials, and equipment
- Ability to follow installation instructions and company standards
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of HVAC installation work
Responsibilities
- Assist with and perform residential HVAC change-outs
- Complete equipment set-outs for new construction homes
- Assist with other residential HVAC installation projects
- Install and connect HVAC equipment and related components
- Load, unload, and organize equipment, tools, and materials
- Maintain clean and organized jobsites
- Follow company installation and safety standards
- Work efficiently with installation leads and other crew members
- Help ensure installations are completed correctly and professionally
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who shows up consistently, works hard, takes direction well, and takes pride in doing quality work .
You do not have to be a lead installer or know everything. However, you should already have a solid foundation in residential HVAC installation and be ready to continue developing your skills with an experienced team.
Experience: 1+ year residential HVAC installation experience required
