The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Working primarily within a small team, this role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety standards and delivering quality customer support. The technician will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime. This position requires local travel to various client sites.
Responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC systems and components for optimal performance
- Repair and replace faulty equipment and parts
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and conduct diagnostic testing
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Provide responsive customer support and clear communication
- Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-3 technicians
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with HVAC system repair and preventive maintenance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
