Pediatric Hospitalist (Per Diem)

Per Diem Pediatrix Hospitalist Opportunity Winchester, VA

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for per diem coverage at Winchester Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting, while also engaging in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Position Highlights

• Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries
  • Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
  • Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
• Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
• 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel - block scheduling available
• Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through:
• University of Virginia
• INOVA
• Children’s National
• Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also provides NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care
• Program start: November 2026

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience required
• Active Virginia license required
