The clinical setting is equipped with modern rehabilitation technology that facilitates a variety of treatment modalities while promoting efficiency and effectiveness in patient management.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing clinical judgement and evidence-based assessment tools to gather history and perform assessments.Communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively develop comprehensive treatment plans with patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in goal setting.Implement individualized treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, adapting methods to align with patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.Maintain close communication with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing and promptly documenting any changes in patient conditions that necessitate adjustments in care plans or referrals.Execute effective discharge planning, ensuring that patients have a solid support system in place for ongoing recovery and follow-up care.Accurately document patient interactions and treatment activities to provide a clear record of care, including entrance evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.Manage your schedule efficiently, meeting productivity benchmarks and contributing to team efforts in clinical marketing initiatives.Engage in continuing education to stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in physical therapy practices.Exemplify customer service excellence and promote accessibility to care through flexibility in scheduling and responsiveness to patient needs.Contribute to departmental goals and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.Patient Population / Client FocusOur outpatient clinics serve a diverse patient population, ranging from athletic individuals recovering from injuries to elderly patients dealing with chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Ortholand Therapy Center, you will address various health challenges and support each patient's unique recovery journey, ultimately helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.QualificationsMust possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A current license to practice physical therapy as required by Virginia law.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of two years of experience in the field is preferred, Ortholand Therapy Center values a commitment to growth and learning; therefore, we encourage candidates who possess the necessary qualifications and a willingness to develop their skills further.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
