Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to electrophysiology and cath lab interventions. Ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes through expert clinical skills and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients during EP and cath lab procedures, ensuring procedural safety and compliance.
• Assist with and perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including ablations, device insertions, and TEEs.
• Maintain and operate advanced medical equipment such as GE X-ray and Claris hemodynamic systems.
• Document patient data accurately in Meditech and Mac Lab EMR systems.
• Support the healthcare team in patient assessments, post-procedure care, and recovery.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and provide a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of clinical RN experience.
• Demonstrate EP CVT experience and ability to monitor EP cases.
• Preferred: Cath Lab experience with knowledge of A-Fib ablations and EP diagnostics.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability.
