RN - PACU

PACU RN

The PACU RN will work in a fast-paced recovery environment. Shifts may rotate during the week and can range from 7:30 AM to possibly 10 AM. Weekend call shifts are 7 AM Saturday until 7 PM Sunday (36 hours). The RN will have a patient ratio of 1:1 with pediatric patients and 2:1 with adult patients. The average daily census consists of 26 with 7 rooms and 7 beds available. Candidates must have experience managing pediatric patients. Required certifications must be through the American Heart Association. Assignments involve no floating, and blocked schedules are subject to staffing. Candidates must have a permanent address located within 100 miles of the facility. All required documentation must be submitted for review prior to the start date. Candidates must provide two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years. Flu vaccine is required for all personnel unless an allergy is documented. The PACU RN will also engage in various recovery procedures and assessments.
