Medical-Surgical NurseAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Medical-Surgical Nurses to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. Multiple shift schedules are available. They ensure care for the Veterans are his/her priority while in the work setting and demonstrate customer service principles in all aspects of work. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient careAssesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific componentsConsiders all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stage, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiencesAdministers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelinesInfluences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary teamPoised and articulated in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgroundsWorks cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignmentsParticipates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of ColumbiaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationsTwo (2) years of recent Medical-Surgical RN work experience is requiredNo sponsorship availablePay Range: $44.79 - $49.29 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
