Job Title: Machine Shop Assembler (1st & 2nd Shift)

Location: 1133 S Cavalier Dr, Alamo, TN 38001

Shift Time: 6:00 AM -2:30 PM / 2:00 PM-10:30 PM(Mon-Fri)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Machine Shop Assembler to join its team. The machine shop assemblers will help manufacture and clean various items used and associated with bushings. This position will be responsible for ensuring that products are within customer specifications and expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with standard and customized tools
• Works within assembly stations and with cranes, process equipment, computer controls, and custom fixtures
• Clean parts in the machine shop
• Continuously train on new equipment or new processes within the teamwork structure with limited supervision
• Works with paper, oil, gaskets, aluminum, copper, steel, epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, ink, ammonia, lower supports, lower porcelain, flanges, upper porcelain, top terminals, bowls, foil, spring assembly, lead solder paste
• Able to perform repetitive fast-paced assembly work to meet deadlines

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to successfully read drawings and procedure
• Manufacturing experience preferred
