Day 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 or 09:00 to 21:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive emergency care to patients across different age groups. The successful candidate will be required to float within the hospital as needed based on their skills and department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage adult and pediatric patients in an emergency care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established guidelines.
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5 years of experience in adult and pediatric emergency care.
• Current New York State RN License.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication systems.
• Ability to float within the hospital as necessary.
• Flu vaccine required by 11/1.
