Eaton's Electrical Division is currently seeking a MRO Buyer to join our team in South Milwaukee, WI.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do

Position Overview: The MRO/Intercompany Buyer will oversee the release and delivery of purchase orders for raw material and production support activities. This role will also handle procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory issues, including the appropriate Ariba/Versitek/SAP transactions. A key part of the position will be analyzing part consumption behavior and other part characteristics. Working closely with customer service, internal and external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production is essential to provide a high level of support and satisfy the customer. In this function you will:

• Respond to requests for maintenance, repair, and operations equipment and services for operations and the office
• Review purchase requisitions, place inter-company STO purchase orders, issue change notices, and check exception messages to help ensure materials or services are delivered as needed to support production schedules
• Submit and Track MRO purchases and keep information accurate and current
• Review purchase order date accuracy and maintain MRP health
• Take a proactive approach to preventing material shortages
• Provide root cause corrective action when needed
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce MRO costs and improve efficiency
• Maintain material master records for assigned materials; ensure PIR records and source lists are accurate, and reconcile supplier invoices for payment promptly
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers
• Participate in and lead continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year experience performing Supply Chain related functions in a manufacturing environment
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
