Location 07- Ford, 1100 Oyster Bay Ave S., Bremerton, WA 98312, USA Job Details On-site Rate: $17.50 USD per hour Pay or shift range: $17.50 USD to $27 USD (final offers based on skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons) Full-Time Requisition #: ACCOU002481 Description The Accounting Clerk will ensure that all policies and processes are adhered to and that accurate and timely general ledger postings are performed. The role involves reviewing general ledger postings and schedules, handling receivables or payables promptly, and communicating any irregularities or anomalies to management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collects transactions from the car wash or requests necessary information. Audits and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Ensures all policies and processes are adhered to. Processes transactions onto the general ledger. Ensures accurate and timely GL postings. Reviews GL postings and schedules. Ensures receivables or payables schedule aging is kept to a minimum and handled in a timely manner. Communicates to management any irregularities or anomalies noticed during the day. Assists with special projects or tasks assigned by supervisor or controller. Assists with training newer or less experienced staff members as requested. Maintains a professional appearance. Treats all customers and coworkers with respect and dignity. Requires driving a motor vehicle and is a Safety Sensitive position. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School or Equivalent. Two (2) years of bookkeeping or accounting experience or equivalent education/experience. Intermediate accounting software experience. Valid, unrestricted driver's license for more than 3 years. Ability to work independently and with little direction. Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively on a team. Ability to interact with all levels of staff while remaining professional and polite in varying situations. Ability to recognize the time-sensitive nature of projects and tasks and act accordingly.
