Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC
Pay Rate: $19.00+/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: 3rd | Sunday – Thursday | 11PM-7AM
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team and help ensure every product meets customer specifications and the highest quality standards before shipment. A quality background within the pharma industry would be a major plus!
Duties for the Quality Assurance Technician:
- Perform quality inspections on inserts, outserts, labels, cartons, and finished products
- Verify counts, measurements, labels, packaging, and product accuracy
- Conduct fold approvals and review customer specification sheets
- Perform final product inspections before release and shipment
- Maintain quality records and inspection documentation
- Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately, on time, and at the highest level of quality
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Bindery, Pharmaceutical, Printing, Packaging, or Manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and work instructions
- Proficient with utilizing a computer
- Experience using rulers and calipers
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to complete a successful drug screening
- Ability to complete a successful background check
