Job Description

VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a Shipping and Receiving clerk for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM

This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay for this position is $16-$18 DOE

This position combines warehouse duties with front-counter customer service. The ideal candidate knows their way around a warehouse, is comfortable working on a computer, and can shift between tasks as business needs change.

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate you will:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information into the company’s ERP system.
Complete and maintain accurate shipping and receiving paperwork.
Organize inventory and keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and accessible.
Operate a forklift as needed, approximately three times per week.
Assist customers at the front counter and support customer service duties during slower warehouse periods.
Communicate order discrepancies, damaged products, or inventory concerns to the appropriate team member.

Shipping & Receiving Associates must meet the below requirements for consideration:

Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience.
Familiarity with warehouse organization and inventory handling.
Basic computer and data entry skills; ERP experience preferred.
Forklift experience and the ability to operate equipment safely.
Ability to read and write in English to understand work instructions and accurately complete required paperwork.
Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a helpful customer service attitude.
Ability to work independently and switch between warehouse and front-counter responsibilities.

Physical Requirements & Dress Code

· Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.

· Ability to stand and walk for at least half of the workday.

· Steel-toe boots required.

· Dress code: jeans and a T-shirt.
