Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Accountant. The role of a Staff Accountant requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Additionally, proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills are often essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Posting of customer payments to invoices daily. This includes wires, ACHs, checks, and credit card payments.Post cash activity for all bank accounts on a daily basis.Assists with processing bank reconciliations monthly.Communication with customers regarding payments to ensure correct payment application.Review and follow-up of collections with customers daily.Create Open AR Report & Open invoice report for management review weekly.Processing credit card payments.Keeping Process Documentation for Accounts Receivable procedures.Avalara sales tax payment processing and posting payments to QuickBooks.Processes weekly company expense payments through Certify and posts Journal Entries for travel.Enters purchase order requests as needed in QuickBooks.Helps with the month end close process.Handle special projects or tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:- Excellent communication skills and willing to work as a team.- Detail oriented and a problem solver.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.- Bachelor's degree or relevant Accounting Experience- QuickBooks and Avalara knowledge a plus- 2-3 years related experience
