Title
Cath Lab Nurse

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Travel experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Must have clinical skills including blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket management, obtaining 12-lead EKG, syringe pump use
- Procedural competencies expected: diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath procedures, sheath removal/monitoring, monitoring/procedural sedation, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, hypothermia protocol

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the cardiac cath lab, including preparing patients for procedures
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage sedation as required
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care

Compliance / Notes
- On-call: Minimum one weekday and one weekend per month
- Pre-approved time off: One
