In this role, you will provide critical respiratory care to patients in sub‑acute units, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of care. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and respiratory status. Provide ventilator management and trach care for patients with complex respiratory needs. Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize state‑of‑the‑art technology to deliver effective respiratory services. Requirements Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice. Experience in sub‑acute settings preferred. Strong knowledge of airway management techniques and medical terminology. Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification. Familiarity with pulmonology practices and hospital medicine is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
