Granger Medical Clinic is looking for a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant float at Wasatch Internal Medicine. In this role, you will provide essential support to various providers, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care while helping our clinic run smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

• Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardians
• Managing insurance authorizations and prior approvals
• Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.)
• Administering immunizations
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms
• Accurately documenting patient information
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Professional verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent use of computers and office equipment (repetitive motion)
• Work performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment
