About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Google Cloud, Postgres, and BigQuery to support multiple client implementations. This is a part-time (10–15 hours per week), remote role aligned with Eastern Time Zone (EST) hours.
You'll play a critical role in delivering high-performance data solutions that power an AI-driven SaaS platform transforming the dental insurance industry. With 11 client implementations scheduled this year, this position offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, data-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and integrations
- Collaborate with client and internal technical teams to support multiple active implementations
- Manage and maintain data workflows in Google Cloud, Postgres, and BigQuery
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, scalability, and performance across all systems
- Troubleshoot and fine-tune queries, ETL processes, and data operations for efficiency and reliability
Qualifications
- Proven expertise with BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Postgres
- Strong track record in data engineering within SaaS or product-based environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional setup
- Comfortable managing part-time, flexible hours aligned to EST
