Sr. Software Engineer

Client: DMV Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 12 months Work Type: Onsite

Pay Rate: $70-75/hr W2 // $80-85/hr CTC/1099

Required Skills

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with:
• Java development and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Design and development of REST API and REST API documentation.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with:
• Database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, DB2, postgres, or similar.
• Web application and cloud services development
• GitHub and Jenkins.
• Software development methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, or Scrum.
• A fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Qualifications

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience with:
• React, AngularJS, Node.js, or JavaScript.
• IBM IIB, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise service bus.
• Build and deployment activities using IBM WebSphere Application Servers, IBM Liberty, Open Liberty, or similar.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience with:
• Splunk, application monitoring and application logging.
• Cloud computing technologies and distributed systems.
• Microservices architecture and containerization.
• DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience with supporting a motor vehicles department.
