Sr. Software Engineer
Client: DMV Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 12 months Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $70-75/hr W2 // $80-85/hr CTC/1099
Required Skills
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with:
- Java development and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
- Design and development of REST API and REST API documentation.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with:
- Database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, DB2, postgres, or similar.
- Web application and cloud services development
- GitHub and Jenkins.
- Software development methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, or Scrum.
- A fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Qualifications
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience with:
- React, AngularJS, Node.js, or JavaScript.
- IBM IIB, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise service bus.
- Build and deployment activities using IBM WebSphere Application Servers, IBM Liberty, Open Liberty, or similar.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with:
- Splunk, application monitoring and application logging.
- Cloud computing technologies and distributed systems.
- Microservices architecture and containerization.
- DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with supporting a motor vehicles department.
