If this sounds like the opportunity you were looking for, then Empire Eye Clinic can help you reach your career goals!Responsibilities:Assist providers in performing clinical functions such as ophthalmic procedures, room flow, and status communication to the patient and providerEnsure the patient understands all instructions.Take and document patients' medical histories.Operates ophthalmic equipmentSterilize instruments and maintain ophthalmic instruments or equipment.Requirements:Basic knowledge of medical terminologyProblem-solving math skillsKnowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite or G-SuiteEffectively work in a team environment.Demonstrated multitasking and adaptabilityStrong interpersonal skillsComfortable with communication via phone, internet, and in-personAbility to maintain and follow HIPAA procedures and policiesEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferredBenefits:Competitive Salary $20.00 -$29.00Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRobust Ancillary Benefits401(k) Plan with employer contributionCompany Paid Life InsuranceGenerous PTO/HolidayEEO Statement
