Safety Assistant

Department: Corporate Safety The Safety Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department by ensuring the accuracy, organization, and efficient management of all safety-related data and documentation. Position Responsibilities: Data Management & Accuracy: Assist with the collection, verification, and maintenance of all EHS data to ensure its integrity and reliability. System Administration: Serve as the Administrator / Super User for three key safety software systems, including managing user access, configuration, and data input/output. Documentation & Policy Support: Aid in organizing and updating essential EHS documentation, including safety programs and policy revisions. Training and Compliance Tracking: Manage and track all employee safety training records to ensure compliance and support timely scheduling. Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and analyses of safety data to support EHS management and decision-making. Communication & Support: Respond to internal inquiries regarding safety training status, policy locations, and incident data requests. Prepare presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint/Slides) for EHS management meetings, using data extracted from the safety systems. Training Course Development: Utilize Canva Pro to design, develop, and update visually appealing and engaging safety training courses, presentations, and communication materials. Position Requirements: High School Diploma Minimum of two (3) years of demonstrated experience working with complex spreadsheets (e.g., advanced formulas, data validation). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs). Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
