Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU, specializing in critical care for COVID-19 and general ICU patients. The nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including COVID-19 cases, using advanced clinical skills.
• Monitor patient status continuously, interpreting vital signs and medical data to inform treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in electronic health records using Cerner systems.
• Participate in holiday coverage, including major holidays and selected minor holidays.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical intensive care or COVID ICU environment.
• Hold current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred but not required: NIHSS certification and CCRN credential.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Cerner electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
