Senior Software Engineer AI

Senior Software Engineer - AI Harnham is partnering with an enterprise organisation to hire a Senior Software Engineer (AI) on a contract basis. This role focuses on building and shipping production AI features powered by LLMs into real business applications.
- Contract Role
- Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
- Rate: $60-$70 per hour W2 only
- Hours: Fulltime (40/week)
- Work Authorization: U.S. only (no sponsorship)
- Build and deploy AIpowered backend services
- Develop LLM features using RAG
- Design scalable APIs and microservices
- Own features endtoend: build, deploy, monitor, improve
- Optimise AI latency, quality, and cost
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend skills (Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience integrating LLMs / AI APIs into production
- Solid RAG and cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure)
